I know a girl who knows a lot about it and doesn't mind it. She watched the VH1 show and says PUA techniques would "totally" work on her, so she doesn't view it as bad.

I don't think most women will judge you on it, unless you just copy-paste openers instead of having good natural game (which is harder, but ultimately better).

PUA isint a style.. Its just analyzing and manipulating the system nature set up...

canned material is just there to help you learn that system till u can do it by yourself.

so there wont be a point where PUA cant be done cuz girls have caught on, and even if there was we'd think of a way around it.

Lol I was actually at work and this girl I knew before PUA came in and saw all the girls I had trying to talk to me and get my attention & she goes "You know you should be on that pick up artist show on VH1" lmaooo.. I laughed but i was in my head like "wow if you only knew lmao"

I used to have this exact same mindset, that cause of vh1's pickup artist and the game, that we'd all be found out (it doesn't help that I only recently found out about the game only a few months ago. The game and the show both came out around 2007-ish if I'm not mistaken?)

I used the routines, I used the openers but like the previous post stated, "they are tools for manipulating the system but are not the system itself" They do help the beginners like I was a few months ago to calibrate a little and figure out why all this stuff works and ultimately, the goal of a PUA is to become a natural.

Today I don't even bother with all the openers and routines anymore (unless I find some of the routines really fun, like the cube. I love the cube). I've totally crossed over, I'm totally authentic and real, and natural. A big thanks to RSD as well as gambler's and adam's stuff.

What's the world going to do? Are women supposed to stay away from 'the cool guys' now??

If you use canned lines there is a risk of being spotted but it's still unlikely to happen, most men haven't heard of PUA let alone women unless you live somewhere like Beverley Hills!
The secret is to take the principles explained in the community and create your own unique style that suits you.
My local bookshop has a display of martial arts books in its windows, does this mean everyone out there is a Kung Fu expert..............................?

i hate to point this out but pick-up hasnt been a secret for years the majority of guys on forums got into it because of reading 'the game' by neil strauss, i ve been around pickup since the book came out so its been a while. and the community has expanded so much and its because of strauss' book which has a bible like status for single men! i ve worked around some of the biggest stars in pu in the uk but i decided to distance myself from it because of a simple reason it became too commercial and then too many self confessed experts came out selling classes! its also surprises me how many teachers go into the media spotlight to explain pu: neil strauss, mystery, kezia, gambler, adam lyons and so on which in turn makes the pu world even more commercial plus the mentioned have all released mainstream books on pu. hence why its difficult to use routines in these books because they will have been used over and over again.
