Lately I come acroos as a very cold, distant person. I'm pretty solitary, and somewhere along the line I'm left with no friends. Maybe it was because I was too much of a nice guy, constantly nodding and agreeing. Maybe it showed through that I'm bored of everyday people, in an egotistical (and misanthropic?) fashion, me being the intellectual fool in search for philosophical conversation.

Another problem is when I speak, I speak loudly, clearly, slowly and with confidence, but I mash up my thoughts and come off very arrythmic. Ever began to talk simultaneously with another person? Yeah, my interactions with other people are full of awkward moments.

And, while I know I don't have to, I feel like I have an obligation to be the one to constantly break the ice and find things to talk about. Consciously, I know my fears are irrational, but nervousness washes over nevertheless.

Also, I'm greek, and I speak more fluently in english. Go figure.
