I don't think there is a right answer here. I depends on what YOU (or the girl) puts in the expression. If you are honest about it, then at least you can feel good about your self. You are being honest, and then people have to make up their own minds about you.

Personally I would call you a ladies-man. Not a player.

Could be any number of reasons. Maybe she has been hurt by a 'player' before. Then it probably won't matter what she feels in this situation, because she is reminded of the bad feeling form the past.

Or maybe you made her feel like "one out of many". We all like to feel special.

I assumed the last thing too, I have talked with a friend of mine about it and we came to the same conclusion. "We all like to feel special"

what works for me is the following:

when she says that you dont loose any calm that you already have.
at the same time you get slightly serious (not agry!)

and you say: "a player is someone who goes out to find girls just for sex, i dont do that"


and the case is closed. you have passed an obstacle.

2. She's jealous.

A person may not want to date but still can become jealous. Everyone wants to feel like number 1 to satsify their ego.
