Now what?

I want to learn everything eventually, but what's most important to start with?

I went out and field tested the concept of negs, and DHVing already. For the first time in my life I opened a HB8, and had her attention for a solid 15 minutes!

Instead of the usual boring shit, I started with a neg right off the bat. I could just see it in her eyes, they didn't glaze over like I've become used to, there was a sparkle in them like "oh really? I'm listening..."

My heart nearly skipped a beat! I know now for a fact there is something to this. What material exactly does the concept of negs and DHVs originate from (I'm thinking maybe the mystery method)? If I shouldn't go through that material first then what material should I start with, and why?

Right now I'm thinking it's kind of a toss up between MM and Annihilation (which is based on MM, right?)

What do you guys think? I really think I want to learn more about negs and DHVs.

As I type this post, and while you guys are posting responses, I'm going through Magic Bullets by Savoy just because it seems like a nice quick read that I've had recommended a couple times.
