I'm just sort of curious. The world population wouldn't propagate itself if every girl only had reproduced with guys they were attracted to. Do normal guys just happen to get lucky and display attractive quantities sometimes that allow average looking girls to eventually date them and marry them, or are unattractive girls biologically inclined to just get with unattractive guys. Because I see how an alpha male per group might work in a neolithic tribe with 100 or so people, but in today's world almost everyone has a partner, including AFCs.

The reason why girls will settle for an AFC is because there arent as many Alpha Males out there to choose from. AFCs are loyal and are typically better providers. So women at some point of their life are given a choice: go with uncertainty and excitement (the alpha) or security (afc). For women who are 6s and below, they typically go for the most physically attractive afc available. Next time you are at the mall notice all the chubby chicks with tall physically fit dudes on their arms. lol

Just because they're with them, does not mean it will last.. or even that they are happy.. people are amazing creatures who will put up with the most horrific situation in order to just not be alone.

Or keep a count of chubby girls with fit guys vs fit girls and fat guys

Of course, they may be unattractive PUAs too.

There are Alpha Females as well as AFC Females. AFC Females will be satisfied with AFC Males, and up. Alpha Females will not be satisfied with AFC Males, they will only date Alpha males. Hence, the fat chick dating the fit man. (He make look good on the outside, but b/c of what his partner looks like, he is probably an AFC on the inside)

@ SilentKiller...Actually Alpha Females do not seek out Alpha Males, nor do Alpha Males seek out Alpha Females. Those Alpha-Alpha relationships dont work. Somebody has to be Jordan and the other has to be Pippen, its the only way...

There are a million reasons why a girl will date and marry an AFC. Wondering why is worthless and a waste of time really. As you are never going to get all the answers. Best to just accept that AFC do get dates and move on.

Agreed,

Independent (M) + Independent (F) personality traits do not match.. Not for long anyway..

From what i've found it needs to be

Interdependent (M) + Interdependent (F)
Interdependent (M) + Dependent (F)
Dependent (F) + Dependent (M)

Independent (F) + Interdependent (M) (High fail rate)

I thought AFCs were referred to as AFCs for a reason? The frustrated guy who cannot get a girl? Or does it only refer to the frustrated chump who can not get a girl who is HB7 or above?

AFCs are just dudes with no game. Some can get girls some can`t. The frustration comes from the inability to deal with tests from the opposite sex.
