Thanks for the tips; interesting read from someone who knows their stuff.

1) Obviously, anymore than just a bit of light kino (armtouching, etc.) would be weird on the street during the day. As for the insta-date, personally I don't like them. Unless she's got no legitimate time constraints and you can conceivably get her home, I don't like to sit around for an hour just building comfort, without the possibility of closing. Notice I said possibility - you don't HAVE to close, but just the sexual tension in the background gives a proper date direction and purpose. Daytime dates don't have that. If you definitely can get her back, then just do the same extraction you'd normally would - invite her back for ANY reason, and then physically escalate.
The specific incident I had in mind was at the train station. Me and this girl were waiting for the same train. I got us chatting. Went straight for a coffee. Light kino went well. Stuggled to work out how to build. Had about 90 minutes of time together. Would never see each other afterwards and neither of us lived locally. Could I have really gone anywhere with this?
With hindsight, I'd play a 'no regrets' gambit I thought up and try for the k-close. Obviously, only useful in a limited number of situations.

2) So, the problem with walking alongside her, is that if she takes a turning, it will be creepy to follow her. If you do happen to begin the conversation whilst walking, you MUST get in front of her and get her to STOP as soon as possible. An easy way it to just say "oh well listen I gotta get going" whilst stepping in front of her and offering to shake hands. Then, just continue the conversation!
The road I take in to town gives me between 5 and 10 mins to chat so I could walk and chat. There's also a cafe at the end of the road, so theoretically, I could do an instant date, but you don't reckon that they're any good?
re. instant dates not being good, is this because you're used to London where you game lots of girls per session and are farming numbers for later?
