nobody should worry about that movie at all, not even if it was a documentary. If it was a 4 hour documentary interviewing everyone in the book, I would buy the DVD set.

Strauss sold the rights to the book a long time ago, and I think they're already working on a screenplay, but that might have been put off for a bit since that happened in 2007

Though yes I finally registered here due to The Game I was already a young PUA, its going to be a shit show if every girl knows the routines - yes it would be better for running natural game, but FUCK, the Pick-Up is what sets us aside from the Models and Celebrities. this movie would be the sell out option...

Personally i dont mind if a movie comes out, i think most guys know of PUA, and there are only a very few who study it in any kind of detail, and that will remain.

Just look at these forums, how many people are there who join, make less than five posts and then are never heard of again? Those percentages are not going to change... and i dont think that the total amount of guys involved in pua will increase that much.

I think the movie would be a VERRYYY BAD THING , even if your a natural she will still know what your doing , and every style of game will be exposed , speed seduction , mystery method , RSD , what about the people whp have spent years using that what will they do?

I think it will kill the community no matter what game you use.

Personally, I don't care for the concept of canned routines, I'd rather give it my own touch; but I'm going to use the canned routines anyway for now because I'm still learning this stuff, and it gives me a good leg up on how to go about it and create my own shit.

But if women become aware of these routines, then the gurus will adapt, tech will get updated, and those of us who are committed will learn the new way of doing things, no?

It has to be this way. Why? Because women love and desire sex just as much as men (or so I've read), and if everyone running these tactics gets all of a sudden blocked out thanks to evolving social standards, then who does that leave? Unattractive beta-males like I'm trying not to be anymore? right. they won't be having that. something has to give.

And suppose they do ALL go for the unattractive beta males all of a sudden just to make sure they don't get gamed? Isn't that PERFECT for 90% of the people trying to study this stuff (as evidenced by the fact that they are STUDYING this stuff)? Maybe we could all just finally be our own goddamn selves without worry? Then the 10% of us who understand the stuff Mystery teaches intrinsically will have to study how to be like US! Would not that be something?

Pipedreamz you raise some very good, valid points. The game will change and adapt. Just like it always does, just at a much faster rate.
I'd still consider that the effect it would have on our current game would be negative though. But certainly not the death of PUAs.

So the movie came out, it's crappy as hell, nobody will watch it and nobody uses "GEEZ LOUIZE I GOT 3 IOI'S"-type game anymore like in the movie anyways.
