Hey guys! I've been reading and attempting to do pickup for the past few months now. One of the greatest challenges that I've been trying to figure out and starting to become frustrated with is college game.

I am perfectly fine doing the newbie mission (saying hi to everyone that passes me) especially on campus, but I've mostly been having trouble opening and going beyond just saying hi. I've recently have been focusing on the 3 second rule for the past week or so because I heard that it will help me with my Approach Anxiety. Sometimes it works, but most of the times, I found myself coming up with a million reasons in my head not to approach.

Situations that I mostly see myself in everday on campus with girls that I want to approach are:
-They're studying by themselves or on their computer
-They're talking to a group of friends
-They're walking or sitting down while listening to her headphones
-They're walking to class
-They're eating during lunch
(Situations that I have absolutely have no reason to talk to them)
I can't even begin to tell you how many situations I have missed because of my AA

Whenever I do manage to work the courage to talk to one of them (I still have big AA approaching group sets), I usually use one of the openers
-What are you studying/reading?
-What are you getting for breakfast/lunch
-Do you know where X building is?
-Do you know where I can print stuff?
Usually these don't get me very far.

when I'm given a reason to talk to them like:
-We're waiting in line for food (I'm wondering what she is getting)
-When they are promoting for their organizations/sororities
-When I'm promoting things for my organizations
-If they are working on campus
I can open no problem and carry the conversation

My questions are:
-What's the best way or best thing I can do to improve my college game with girls?
-Are there any suggestions for openers?
-Wouldn't it be weird if I kept using direct approaches all the time at school (I've been told direct openers are good during the day, but I haven't tried it)

Well girls think they know everything so just using a opener like... "hey can i ask your opion on something?" (and then make up some shit)

Here's an opener that Always works. If you're sitting down with friends and you see a HB, go up to her and say:

"Listen, I think you should know those guys on that table is checking you out (Point to your friends haha)... But let me be the 1st to introduce myself..."

OR

If you're alone "Hey, I alawys notice guys checking you out so I think I'll be the 1st to approach you."

Got any examples of how it turned out when you used one of those?

Please throw some openers that you guys have successfully used. I have major AA, especially when it comes to me walking to class and seeing a HB.

PS - A lot of my female friends say that they love to be approached; it's just that no guy approaches them until it's night time at a bar/club/party.
