This has happened to me more than once and I've been trying to figure out how it went down.

I was out with a Day 2 with an HB I had number closed before. (Admittedly, I hadn't seen her for some time since I number closed her, but we'd message and call eachother almost every day.) Things are going smoothly with her showing IOI's when OUT OF NOWHERE, she says she's interested in a mutual friend.

I thought it was a shit test at first so I just smirked, ignored it, and moved on with the conversation. But then she returns to the topic and tells me this 5 minute story about a 5-second incident involving her friend "twat-blocking her" as she puts it. I don't think this is a shit test anymore. I think I just got friend-zoned.

Been trying to figure out how this happened and how to recover from this.
Any thoughts guys?

Well it's pretty weird that it happand out of nowhere. I think it is a shit test dude.

It's so weird if it isn't a shit test because you just can't go from out of nowhere to a friendzone. Maybe it is a one time thing for her to talk about that kinda stuff when you are around. She probably whants to see how you react.

Yeah, it confused the hell out of me. I'm wondering if I invested too much in comfort rather than attraction in some way. I'll see how this plays out over the next few days.
