Hey guys
My name is Dan im 21, I live in Norwich uk. I recently got out of a 3 year relationship then 3 weeks later the girl had a new bf, that was a massive blow to my ego and confidence, it made me feel like I was insignificant. It took a while before I even wanted to go and talk to girls again. About a week ago i stumbled onto a clip of the tv show the pick up artist. I watched the first season religiously whenever i had some free time. I have completeted the 1st season and have just started watching the second. I have also started reading the game by neil strauss. I also found this website yesterday whilst looking for more stuff and looks like this will help a lot.

Last night it was a mates 21st and I went into the city with a group of friends. I thought whilst I was out i may aswell try open a couple of sets and get some practice in. I had some approach anxiety and the music was loud so I backed out a few times but then used mystery's 3 second rule and opened on a two set with my teen sisters birthday, need some advice on what to get her. The target was a hb-8 cute with short blonde hair, she had a foreign accent russian or polish maybe??? Things went well I threw in a bit of kino and noticed some ioi's, I was starting to stuggle with my mid game a bit so I suggested moving to the dancefloor as an alternative to just rolling out and I am a confident dancer, both girls agreed and I led them by hand. I was a able to build more kino through dancing and was able to get a kiss close before moving onto another club.

I still have a lot of work to do but am happy about my first attempt, it was a great ego/confidence booster and I cant wait till the next time I go out. If there is anyone from the norwich area that sees this and wants a wing PM me.

Has anyone got any more good reading or general advice about what I should be looking at next? It would be much appreciated!!

Nice one buddy well done. I second Hobo's advice get out in the field as much as possible, read bits here and there but don't get too caught up in the theory!
