this mainly only applies to only a few girls but how do i go about saying that we have something in common without qualifying myself to her? a girl at work and i have pretty much everything in common but if she says "i love rubarb pie" i feel like im begging for her acceptance by saying "OMG i love it too its my fave!" especially since things like this come up quite often.
this is probably super afc but im not sure how to approach this.
Example:
Her: ''I like rubarb pie.''
You: ''I like the apple better, I mean rubarb is very delicious, but I just like the taste better, it reminds me of something.''
Her: ''Really of what?''
You: [You have free hands here push/pull, c/f or you can throw a qualifying question.''
That's just an example, basicly what you do is to show her, that you two do have a comonality, but you have your own opinion about that. (You can achieve that with push/pulls)
