| I finally tried to # close my classmate at college. It didn't go at all like I had originally planned. My intention was to wait until after class, walk and chat with her a bit, and then, just before we part ways, ask her to put her number into my phone. Then, I was going to take her phone from her and save my name as something funny like "hot guy with a nice butt." Instead, my phone decided to die halfway through class. With my plan ruined, I ended up telling her to put my number into her phone. I should have asked her to write her number down on a piece of paper and give it to me, but for some reason, this didn't occur to me until afterward.
So, I take her books off her hands and she starts digging for her phone. While she's doing so, I explain to her that I would get her number from her, but my phone is dead and I told her she could just text me later. I was trying my best to imply that I expected her to give me her number and that I wasn't giving her my number because I was a wuss.
It's been a day so far without a text from her. I know she's very busy. She often complains about never being able to catch up on her sleep because she's always either in school or at work. I'm not sweating it, but what I am wondering is, when I see her in class tomorrow, assuming my phone is working, should I tell her to put her number in my phone or just wait for her to text me?
I really like this girl. It's not one-itis, but it would be disappointing if I didn't get a shot at dating her.
She's really confusing. When we're doing projects in class, she frequently loses focus and starts joking around with me. She really only talks to me and the topics we discuss are all over the place. Just the other day she was showing me pictures of the cats that her family owns and explained which one was hers and why she loves him so much. I bought her a 5 hour energy shot and gave it to her last week, since she's always complaining that she's tired. She was surprised by the flavor I got for her, because she'd never seen it before. A few days later she comes into class and goes on a tangent how she saw a whole bunch of different flavors somewhere, which tells me she was thinking about me. We tease each other a lot, just like a couple does. She's weird. Sometimes, when I give her a hard time, she acts like she's going to playfully hit me, but then doesn't touch me. Like she's scared to touch me or something. For instance, last week, I asked her what was the craziest thing she's ever done in her life. She said she didn't know, so I told her that was boring and that she should make something up. I told her she had better have come up with something interesting by the next time we have class together, because I was going to ask. She said I would forget to, but I didn't. When the time came around, I called her out on it. She laughed and said I wasn't supposed to remember and went like she was going to punch me in the arm, but stopped midway and pulled her arm back? Strange. I've touched her a couple of times. She was practicing doing rescue breathing, but didn't know how to position herself over the dummy, so I grabbed her shoulders and guided her. Another time, I noticed she had a tattoo of a lizard on her foot. I reached down and started rubbing her foot as though I was trying to better examine the design. Both times, she seemed very comfortable with what I was doing. She smiled when I rubbed her foot. Her body language is so open around me. What confuses me is how it seems almost as if she's running away from me after class. It makes no sense.
I really need some suggestions on what to do about this girl.
