So i was walking along the beach/canal, relaxed, happy and wearing an ipod. An attractive girl in a bikini- probably 32 (im 30)- slowly went by me on a surf ski. She looked, i looked, she smiled, i smiled; but she was in the water and not in chatting distance, just yelling distance. Anyway, we kept perving on each other and i kept walking and passed her as she continued to slowly paddle by. I immediately wondered if i should have yelled something!? When i turned around and came back 5 minutes later, she too had turned around. I passed her again but this time SHE DIDNT LOOK AT ME so i started walking inland, but she had actually slowed down and gotten off where i had just been! Perhaps hoping i went back down there!? SO, when i realized, I was about 50m inland and she had briefly stopped, got off, then jumped back on her surfski before i could react. Her "diversion: made no sense other than to get near me. Anyways, at that point, I wish i had just stayed where i was! but i was now too far in and she was already heading to the other side of the canal. Nevertheless, i stopped, sat down and hoped she would dock again and i could go over.

So, my instinct says she was keen to chat. What would you have done in this situation. I want openers and everything else to seduce her. Im on a holiday down the coast and have my own apartment for 3 days. For future reference, so i learn, what should i have done and said from my first comment to getting her to my apartment? I know i should have taken off the ipod and yelled (20yards away) at her?

And here is the kicker. When i sat down and she went to the other side, she got off her surf ski and went and sunbathed with 3 other hot friends!!

open as early as possible. the earlier you open, the less time you have to over-analyze the situation, and the more natural it seems.

Opening ASAP does not lend itself to give off the impression that you had to take the time to muster up the gumption to approach. It gives the impression that you naturally have the balls to approach someone, and that you are comfortable enough with yourself to do so.

i think you're pondering about this situation way too deeply.

what you should have done was when you two had eye contact you could waved or gave a hand signal for her to come over to you and if she was interested she would have then. good thing that you didnt yell 20 yards away, she wouldnt have been able to hear you, big dlv. when you knew that she was sunbathing with her friends you should have went over there and opened them up. btw if they were to ask you to put sun cream on them, dont eagerly agree to it, you could say "How much are you willing to pay me?", in a cheeky way.

good ways to open indirectly. assess the situation. its a beach, so get their opinions about some stuff there

"Hey guys, need to get your opinion on something. which is the best place around here to get some ice cream? the reason im asking is that im planning to take my niece to get some ice cream later with her friends later, and she's extremely fussy when it comes to ice cream and she really screams her head off if she doesnt get a good one. know any good places?" this is a good opener because girls always have trouble deciding which places to go and hang out, then you could transition away from the opener.

you could ask them about which is the best surf board wax. if there is a carnival near by, ask them which is the best ride to take you niece to etc.

also you can go direct e.g. "Hey i saw you from over there and i had to tell you that you're just too cute and i wanted to come over to say hi".
