Since it was only drizzling, I used my bag as an umbrella and started walking to some place. The rain got worse, so there I was stuck at some pedestrian crossing when some cute girl comes up with an umbrella. I asked her if I could borrow it and I just step in. So now the both of us are under this tiny umbrella and I'm wondering what to say to her.
I make some comment that I just need to get to that building across the road (which I actually do). There wasn't much conversation. I asked her if she was local, (which she was). The convo pretty much stalled though.
Naturally when we get across the road, I ask if she can drop me off by walking me to that building. Its along the way, and she just has to walk a few steps towards the building, but she points straight ahead and says shes walking that way. I say sure, thanks, and scoot off.
What would be a great opener to use in the umbrella situation. Ideas?
