I'm not really sure what you mean film about alpha males. Like a documentary or just a movie?

Just about all of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's movies. He is not only alpha in the movies but in real life.

WOW. A lot of 'guy movies' have big bad ass dominating alpha males I will try and stay away from the likes of Bruce Willis, Stallone, Arnie. They are obvious alpha's but usually in situations were they are surrounded by Nam Vets and not HB 10's.

I will try and be specific to actors who played male characters with alpha male traits:

1. Scarface - Al Pacino, he gets the girl, the lifestyle, the respect....
2. Raging Bull - Robert De Niro, he gets the girl, hes a boxer, has the lifestyle...
3. American Psycho - This is a good one, remove Christian Bales bad traits and keep his dominant ones.
4. Any James Bond Film!
5. A Streetcar Named Desire - Old film but you have to watch this, Marlon Brando is the ultimate ALPHA male. He said he based his perfromance on a gorilla
6. Drugstore Cowboy - Matt Dillon is kind of the cool alpha male of his small social group.
7. Layer Cake - Drug dealer Daniel Craig is alpha and swarve
8. Harsh Times - Christian Bale, Christian Bale, Christian Bale. The ultimate AMOG.
9. The Departed - Full of alphas fighting it out.
10. Superbad - Christopher Mintz-Plasse........

Obviously these are films and the characters bad traits are blown up. I think it is better to look at the actors and think, how the fuck do they manage to become this person by clicking their fingers

I will try and find out some more films with the alpha getting the girls, as it is more specific to PU and it is much easier to relate to.

moreso ACTUAL relating to women or picking up women.

Roger Dodger(2002) with jessie eisenberg- he plays a kid who goes to NYC to get his uncle to teach him how to pick up women, extremely witty comedy and even certain actual techniques are used in this movie.(although his uncle goes a little too far)

Scent of a women(1992)- especially the key dancing scene with al pacino picking up the very attractive women.

Californication- Tv show yes, but hank moody shows perfect cocky/funny and its all about his ability to get so many women.

Alfie- With Jude Law, also a good movie about womanizing.

I also just watched van wilder(2002), ryan reynolds is also a great example of cocky+funny in this movie(or any movie he's in practically)

could somebody explain what an alpha male is? I have heard the term and a google search gives me a certain clue but I would like to hear from you guys what the characteristics of an alpha male consists of.

The movie "Roger Dodger" is a phenomenal flick about Pick Up, and the main character is extremely crass and a huge D-Bag, but he is pretty alpha.

An Alpha, whether Male or Female, is someone that other people are drawn to and propagate to -- they have an aura about them that people find compelling. Mystery talks about this in depth in his seminars, but off the top of my head, here is some criteria an Alpha Male has:

1. He is a Leader -- other men are drawn to him.
2. He protects those who are close to him.
3. He is a provider -- he has wealth.
4. He is social, willing to have a conversation with absolutely anyone, not just an attractive woman. He knows "everyone".
5. He is comfortable in his environment, leaning against the wall, or slouched a bit in a chair -- he doesn't look "rigid"
6. He smiles, and laughs a lot, conveying the comfort in #5.
