I met a girl through my best (female) friend. Me and the girl flirt a lot but that's it. I like her a lot. But whenever my best friend invites the girl over her house, I feel like I should always be there with them trying to Impress her and win her over. And when I can't make it, I feel bad like I'm losing an opportunity or something. So I'll change my plans with the guys just to be there that night.

Is this pathetic? Should I be feeling this way?
