Obviously some good ones are
if she gets mad at you because you didn't see her or didn't call her or didn't talk to her.
If she gets upset because you were talking about another girl that she knows and she gets jealous
....
A girl got mad at me earlier today and I didn't know if it was good or bad, it doesn't matter anymore but... what are situations like when it's a good thing?

This is a pretty vague question. If you lay out a specific scenario, we may be able to calculate the dynamics and give you some advice, but we can't make the assertion that all girls behave the same.
