Hey guys, went out on wednesday, k-closed a random girl and had a great connection with her. She asked for my number, said I was a great kisser, so it was looking good for a day 2. I texted her the next day and told her I wanted to see her again. She said the same. We were both really tired on thursday and she was busy on friday, so we couldn't meet up. Then she tells me she s going skiing on saturday for a week. I texted her : "see you in a week i guess:P Text me when u get back. Dnt be a stranger.". To which she replied that she would be talking to me during the week. Does this mean she wants me to text her or what?

What should I do? Text her sometime during the week to keep me fresh in her mind? Or just wait for her to text me? Send a casual "how was ur day" each day? I dont want her to flake. She seems to follow the rules, i.e. she likes it when I take the lead, but also thinks that the man has to text first.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Shameless bump, I need help with this, I have no idea how to proceed and I am quite fond of this girl...

First, great job getting to this point with her. Being told ur a good kisser is a huge IOI. It seems like she's genuinely busy and you'll likely be able to set up a day 2 when she gets back. Since it's just starting out I would avoid writing things like "text me when u get back. Dnt be a stranger" since it seems a bit needy. Its a natural response with someone u like, but too much of it in the beginning can be a turn off.

During this week, don't text everyday but maybe 2-3 times. Asking about her ski trip and telling about interesting things ur doing. Casually bringing up something u can do on ur day 2 might work. "I just found out about this great sushi place, we should try it out sometime." Also, seeing "haha", ":)", "lol" in ur text conversation is a good sign things are going well. I think her responses to these texts will tell u a lot if she wants to keep this going or if the original thing was just a one time thing for her

Looking back, saying text me when u get back etc was a bit needy, thanks for pointing that out. Live and learn, eh?
I think I wont text her during the week, I'll be busy with college, boxing, going out etc. But I will drop her a text when she gets back if she doesn't text me first, ask her about her trip. I'll also use your advice about casually bringing up things to do on a day 2, thanks for that.
Ill keep you updated on what happens next, though it will probably be nothing for the next week or so.
