I live in a college town at a large university and may be going downtown tonight with some friends. I go downtown maybe once or twice a month, I could go more if I go by myself but that's awkward.

Anyway there are tons of college chicks my age and often all I have to do is look at them and smile and they will come talk to you if they've had a little. Anyway often times I get asked if I'm in a Fraternity which I'm not. I've had the opportunity to be in one and a lot of my friends joined one but I'm not into paying lots of money for that kind of stuff ect and my major is very very hard and I'm too busy. Well it's too late to join one now but around here that seems to be the #1 turn on for most women unfortunately.

Most of the openers and c/funny I've learned work enough to maybe get a few numbers but they never remember or don't care to call back the next day. It's also very hard to get to C1 and C2 in these environments since they are usually with friends. I also struggle approaching in this environment since I rely mostly on eye contact and a few drinks. Often times I try to be as natural as possible and strike up a conversation when it appears casual like when I'm waiting for a drink or near the bar ect. If I stay there too long and women notice me walking around opening groups ect they may get suspicious. What are some good approaches for college age women and most importantly how do I get them to call back

Well, it turned out there were not as many girls as there usually are on Friday nights. My friends were all skeptical of me about girls so I showed them how to open a girl in front of them. (I had a few drinks obviously). The first girl (a HB8) didn't go so well. (my AFC friends dared me to tell her what a nice rack she had but when I really went up to her I said "I have something to tell you .....but not here... she gave me a smile and interested look but shrugged (she was already talking to some guy) and I walked away. I then opened a two set of HB8 since my friends dared me again using an opinion opener asking if "do guys lie more than girls" that was a success until I ended the conversation asking their names and it was nice talking to them ect. My friends actually believing in me want me to get numbers next time. How should I escalate? Many of the girls were either in groups or already in C1, C2, and C3 with guys already by 1am.

I live in a college town btw and will be soon turning 23. Any tips for next time? I felt like I wasn't as successful as I have been in the past since I didn't get any numbers.
