Hey guys, I'm at the end of my tether here. I've been seriously single for 4 years, just got a new job which means i moved to another city about 6 months ago, and since then, i've gotten nowhere with anything... and i mean that... I was out tonight - by myself again, as i haven't been able to develop any friends nearby and all my buddies are now married, have kids, and settled down.

And of course, while out tonight, i was blown out of the water on every set i opened... each opener got a one word response then bang, dead, gone.

At work everyone is 20 years older than me, that's always been the case. It means that I act 45 instead of 27 all the time and i just don't have the social skills i need to talk to reasonably attractive women the same age as me.

Seriously gutted at tonights failure... and trying to convince myself not to quit altogether.

dont go to clubs, meet people in the supermarket and library "by accident"

Again, clubs are not the be all and end all. Try more daygame?
