HER:.....?UH? Well yeah I know you like ____. Thats what I thought.Ppl just being stupid.

HER: I have to keep her name confidential but I just bitched at them for getting it wrong intfo. Don't worry.

ME: I mean did you want me to like you?

HER: I was just wondering.

See now whats going on here? I have my own opinion, but I wanna hear what you guys think.

Although, it depends on her body language, personality, relationship with her, etc.

I would have responded with "What if I do?"
Or, "Can you keep a secret?" --Then give her a red herring.
Or, "Are you hitting on me?"
