To pull that off dont make it seem like you are letting her win. Tease her during the spar/training, egg her on. "Is that all you got?" "You punch like my niece" Then after the class tell her she owes you a drink/coffee/protein shake for "beating" you up.

Hmm, I like it. but I think she is far to clever. I think it would be transparent and it would be a DLV that I didn't go direct. The direction is really good though and any action would be better than the 0 action I am taking right now. Maybe DHV by going the exact opposite direction and laying a good whooping on her (without relying on brute strength) then explain to her the principles that let me win. I think this might cause her to say thank you in which case I can casually say "You can make it up to me by buying me a drink ("sometime" is kinda week, "friday at dinner" may be a bit too strong. Opinions?)

Any big mistakes or pitfalls that jump out to anyone in the community? Like I said in OP I'd rather not screw this one up. I won't be crushed if I fail but I would be disappointed in myself if I slacked on preparation and had to wonder if I could have won.

Maybe, prior to sparring, you could jokingly say something like, "All right! This is it! You're going down! I'm not holding back just because you're a girl, so prepare for the ulimate beatdown!"

Then, of course, let her beat you up.

I think it could build some positive tension between you two being playful like this from the get-go.

I like it! Ima set it up like that but then I am going to deliver... I might do it with an arm wrestling match though! Blow it up so she thinks im gonna be cute and let her win... then fuck her world up!!! then tell her she owes me a drink. This is the one! It's my personality on steroids and I think it will work.
