Step one. Don't apologize or seek approval for things like leaving your first post (especially if you didn't do anything wrong yet). Women are much less worried about your actual physical makeup than they are about how you carry yourself. First you need to learn how to be extremely confident and in control of yourself. That is step one for making up for ugly.

Step two is actually not very important if you have step one down. Females generally have 80% of their attraction switches flipped by displays of social value. In order to show this easily you just need to carry yourself with confidence, show control over yourself and your environment, show compassion and an ability to protect others, and a bunch of other stuff!!! The best way to do this is through becoming the MAN that you want to be.

FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT
I recognize that this isn't something you can do over night and you are probably looking for more of a quick fix :)

Physical appearance may make approach a little easier but confidence makes it super easy. Approach with confidence. It's amazing how it works but for some reason if you act like you are good looking people just kind of buy it. I don't know why it works but it does. I guess it's because the attraction to the confidence outweighs the physical stuff for girls. The guys buy it because they are just as clueless about what makes a dude attractive as I am.

Tell stories about things that your mom would be proud of. I know it's weird but your moms attraction switches are probably very similar to other girls. When I am telling DHV stories I try to pretend like my mom is listening... Everything else in my pickup mom is not around at all :) Basically if mom would smile it's a DHV if mom would cringe then it's a DLV. Assuming you had a semi-normal mom.

Being good looking is only a part of the equation, does it help? of course good looking guys have been told by women they look good and it boosted their confidence. doesn't it make sense?

Is it the only thing? No it definitely isn't. How do i know? I am a 230ish? lb 5'10 definitely not in the best of shape (i am going to gym) yet. BUT i do have a good sense of fashion, i am a GREAT story teller and i'm told I have a nice ass. I've actually have had girls walk up and touch it lol, if that isn't an opening to talk to them what is?

i have plenty of friends that girls consider good looking but once the girl tries to talk to them the girls quickly become uninterested. the reason? the guys have no game they can't keep them entertained and that initial good looks don't help them at all.

I even told one of my friends who doesn't have good confidence, I needed to take him shopping to remake his image. Clothes are one of those things, you know when you look good it INSTANTLY boosts up your confidence women can see that way before even the first word is spoken. good luck on your journey and welcome!

thanks guys! im dealing with alot of crap myself. the city i live in, all the women here seem stuck up and snobby. and its kinda weird. i had (and i do mean HAD) a friend, who was HUGE into NLP, ross jefferies etc. and on more then one occassion, i seemed to be the brunt of a joke. because, he would (trying to get me outta my shell) randomly approach women and say things like "id like you to settle something for my friend here, coz hes not listening to me..... would you say hes ugly?" and, while it was embarrassing, never once did the girls say anything of the sort. further, most would try and give me qualification discribing someone they met who was ugly in their minds, then validating the conversation by saying to me "you are NOT ugly" which is nice. however, i have had multiple women i have been interested in shoot me down, solely based on my looks. i have been told on more then one occassion "your too ugly", your not attractive enough for me" one girl even said to me "how can yuo have blue eyes, and still be ugly" mind you that chick, i wasnt interested in... she just said it :P lol and even my ex, my most recent ex (ended in july 2007) dumped me two weeks before my bday saying "your too ugly to meet my family and friends" so that stung. but, its thanks to the game, the things i have read and learned and now, being here thats helped me get over it!

all in all, i think im trying to say, im having a hard time understanding and getting over the whole initial attraction thing. i just dont get this, but im listening (reading) and learning from everything everyone here is saying.

*note* sorry for the TMI (too much information) thing....

never say sorry again lol. its a forum if people did not want to hear about your story they don't HAVE to read it. keep your head up when you have low confidence every girl will seem to have her bitch shield up. don't let it deter you from being happy.
