Okay well basically i gave her a funny nickname and she gave me one back. Sometimes she will just say "Nickname .. you alright" in a sarcastic manner and hit me. She will also give me funny looks and srounge her face at me and look away as if she's properly disinterested. She is originally my mates friend and she likes him and wanted to sleep with him.
The thing is though does this mean that she is just a friend that's attracted to me or is she kind of a player!?

She has potential to be attracted to you and want more from you. Be prepared for a billion shit tests in that situation. There was a girl I really liked in a similar situation (liking my friend) and she gave me a big shit test about my height. I failed to see the shit test and fell for it hard. Looking back I realize that I inadvertently passed about a dozen other shit tests in the situation. It only took failing the one to doom any chance I had with her.

shit-tests are a little game girls play to:

i. size you up "omg you're wayyyyy tooo old/young for me lolool"

ii. create drama because that is their fuel for life "omg do i look fat?!"

iii. get a reaction out of you "so i was talking to brad the other day and he was totally hitting on me"

ways to beat shit tests (in order of effectiveness):

i. smile condescendingly (look at her like she's such a little girl and daww that's cute)

ii. ignore it completely and talk about something else

iii. neg her (if done incorrectly this comes off as very insecure to a properly calibrated girl)

ways to lose a shit test:

i. take her seriously and engage with her drama.

Are you gonna let her push you around and get all cry ass about the teasing? Are you gonna lay down and let her get with your buddy or take what you want?

That's what she is looking for. She will give you soooo many little shit tests if she is anything like my other situations. Beware the Sith Test (and yes pun was intentional)

The only way to fail that shit test is to show insecurity about your age. In my example the girl said she only dates guys that are 6' 5'' or higher (because she is 6'2'') I failed because height is something I am still a little insecure about (5'5''). So I pretty much gave up and she recognized it. If I hadn't been so retarded I would have thought "wait a second I know a guy you dated who was 5'10'' Then I would have recognized it as what she meant "Are you secure enough to be with a women that is this tall?", reassured her, and moved on to the next shit test.

Women date younger men all the time. A lot of young men are far more mature than older men. What she is really testing is whether it is something you are insecure about. So don't be insecure about it. Or fake it till you make it.
