It's driving me crazy.

Basically, I work at a hotel (position isn't important). I spend a lot of my time hanging around by the front desk, near the elevators. Attached to the hotel is a restaurant and they do our room service. So MAYBE once per shift, a room service person comes over, and about half that time it's one of their cute younger waitresses (my age). She rolls her cart to the elevators, I say hi or smile or something. She gets on the elevator and I have about 5 minutes before she comes back down and I just say something like see ya. Pathetic, I know. There's a door separating the hotel and restaurant and my boss would be pissed if I went over there and followed her to talk to her. I'm sure her boss would feel the same way if she stayed over on my side longer. Keep in mind these encounters are completely random. Sometimes I'll go a month without seeing one of these girls, sometimes it will be 3x in a day. What can I do?

The only thing that has changed recently is a cute older girl (about 28, I'm 20) who works with me, is a really good friend (unfortunately is engaged) decided to help me out in her own way. She's a really funny girl, so when the waitress girl came over she started speaking very loudly, "Oh Greg, you are just sooooo funny, you crack me up all the time..... Plus, you're a great kisser!" A little over the top yeah, but I figure it doesn't hurt.

So how can I game these girls when I only have an unplanned 20 seconds to see them?

Gotta be efficient.

maybe something like "I know we are alone in here but don't try any funny business"

If she giggles then say "okay okay... you twisted my arm... I guess it would be exciting to have a random make out session in a work elevator"

Just watch out for sexual harassment charges. I doubt this would be high % but 20 seconds a month isn't much to work with.

i would actually cut out your female friend from the act, just seems too try hard to me.

you don't have a lot of time to work with and its not the same girl every time so i would do is:

"ohh you think you can pass through here anytime you want?" followed by "okay okay fine you can pass, but its ONLY because your cute... and JUST this once okay?" and on her way back to restaurant pull a "there you go again geeez" and roll your eyes but smile.

oh man. fuck all that indirect nonsense. ask her when her shift is up, if its near when yours is up, then tell her to grab a drink with you at the hotel bar when your shift is up.

if it's not when yours is up then tell her 'i know this is random but i you're cute and i'd like to get to know you better, how can i get a hold of you?'
