I'm really trying to break this overthinking thing.

i was texting this girl and she just kinda didn't respond for an hour so i figure "whatever...she's busy..i have shit to do anyway."

when she does respond it's:

"sorry I'm so delayed at responding, I just sucked at texting for a little bit."

and for some reason my mind immediately goes "that was a really vague secretive-sounding answer but don't press her obviously so you don't seem jealous....but she's probably fucking some other guy"......... right now. at midnight during exam week. yup. that was my thought process regardless of the scenario. I didn't let it show to this chick..but someone help me out a bit.

Next time you send her an sms and she replies much later with that kind of excuse you can do two things :

-if you don't want to show her you are jalouse and want remain a cool guy, respond with something funny that suggests rapport. In that kind of style "why don't you take an appointement with me and i shall teach you how to improve this ?". (You can think of your own thing, it's just a quick example).

-or if you are feed up with lame excuses... just forget about her, cut the deal with a sms suggesting somehow "you should improve this, can't waste time waiting for your excuses without a proper honest answer in it ..." (Again it may be a bit too harshe but you can think of your own things).
