So I went out last night, and thought I'd actually try a couple of the openers I'd learnt (and made!). Just about to open a set of HB8s and AA comes and kicks my hairy white ass into next week. Couldn't do it.

Went to go meet my wing, we headed over to the bar and saw a different 2set of HB8s that we just walked past. My head went 'fuck it' and I opened them perfectly, whereas I normally would've ballsed it up instantly.. And as I was starting to reach my sticking points, in came my wing to save the day.

Tips for AFCS from another AFC ;

Don't look for girls, if you see a hot set near you just open it straight away, 3 second rule is vital.

Have a good wing.. They add to your confidence and can save your ass ( as long as you save theirs!)

Yeah I agree with you. Think about it too long you talk yourself out of the approach very fast. Best to go in quick and your conversations will seem more natural as you aren't overthinking about what to say etc

even better is the " fuck it " rule. if its not gona affect you one year form now then fucking go and do it.

3 second rule does make sense a lot of the time, but when you don't abide by it then i like what this guy said:

yep the 3 second rule is good. Just keep telling yourself, you snooze you lose.

The 3 second rule is good, and used to kill AA obviously, especially for people new to game, but later on, it's not as vital, because you just think fuck it anyway, when your generally comfortable.
