I've been invited to the VIP section of a club. Tips? And how do I dance? I'm terrible and awkward with dancing.

Don't overthink dancing, it's not as important as you might think. You can do pretty much whatever dance move you like as long as you do it with confidence, and have fun doing it. Don't try to posture and look cool. The fun you're having will radiate off you and people (and girls) will be drawn towards it (you).

When you're home alone, watch a music video of someone who can dance (I like to use JK from Jamiroquai). Try some of the moves and then just copy what worked.

When dancing with a girl, match her timings.

edit - re. dancing with girl; technically, the guy should be leading. In which case make sure that you're predictable with what you do when you dance ie. erratic = bad.

Above all, enjoy it. Enjoy looking like a tit (everyone does).
