-Followed a mission from the Men's Mastery Series by David Wygant. Was suppose to get into a bar and just observe for an hour. Nothing interesting hit me, I was just bored for an hour. Saw sets walking in and out. No observations of AFC's or Naturals approaching (I'll try on a Friday night).

-Bar hopped somewhere else. Was determined to get some field experience. Chose a 3 set (they looked like 6's, they thought of themselves as 10's). Opened with spells opener (never doing that again), noticed too late that I was pecking a bit. Got weird looks, forgot to set a false time constraint (did so later a bit too late), they weren't going for the opener at all. Should of at that point at least negged too disqualify, totally forgot. They attacked the root of why I was asking, ended up telling them I was bored (I know DLV'd). Ended up looking like a weirdo I guess and ejected.

I need to negg, not in my nature as a nice guy, need to seriously break that. This is my actual first crash and burn. Instead of feeling bad, I'm more intrigued, never crashed and burned before, but never approached that much before either so it all make sense I guess. I left the bar after that.

What I should of done instead I think was false time constraint immediately (quick question gotta join my friends), opened with "who lies more?". Negged the alpha female of the group immediately. Multi thread with other openers to get to that hook point (w/ what I don't know). Go into DHV mode, then have her DHV to me.

What do you guys think?

First off - FR's need to be in the FR section. So next time please post it in the right section.

Second off; why do you try adjusting with negs directly? What happened with good just serious opening. Just do something like;

"Hey - I saw you girls from over the corner & I thought you were having fun so I wanted to be a part of it - or is it a only girls night? In that case I gotta change my name"

A lot more effective than your opener. Just be normal - don't force yourself too much. Being a Nice Guy prolly will have had you no problems with ladies in the past approaching - but with escalating prolly. So approach as a nice guy - and learn mid-gaming.

Of course there were. But it got better. You keep training, you keep growing. The more you grow, the better.

It gets better. Be prepared- you will get rejected again, numerous times. Women can tell when you're nervous or anxious about a situation. However, you do it enough, approaching a group of women will just be business as usual. When you're more comfortable, it will show in your body language and in your game. Just keep trying.

Work on it even outside of bars. Getting Ice cream? ask the girl at the counter if your new haircut looks good with a smile. At a department store? Say hi to someone who's just walking by, or ask them "how do you think this will look on me" then hold up some ridiculous shirt with a giant tiger on it or something. Don't even think of trying to get their number. Just get used to opening.
