Hi Guys, maybe someone of you have already read my introduction.

I am living here in Australia (Melbourne) for one year now, and came here on my own. I left all my friends, my family and everything wich was familiar with.

But I don't no, where to start now. I mean, I have no friends and no social circle down here. I think I would be stupid to walk in a bar and just to talk to people.
You know, I am not a very confident person, and although I can understand English alsmost perfectly, writing or even talking is still a big challenge for me. How could I approach to girls, if I am that insecure about talking?

I know that I should go out there and do something - but I don't know, where to start!
At the moment I feel like I am on Point Zero!

Has anyone a good advise for me?

I have had tons of fun with this opener in the last week or so.

I move on to "My hair usually only looks good after sex. Back home I used to have to make "hair" appointments with a friend of mine before I went on dates. You know, to make me look smooooth."

Usually get's a giggle. You can at least start making a lot of new friends if you just open a ton of sets.

haha... did you have friends when you were first born? no you didnt...
how did you get all the friends you had in your previous country? thats right you went out and met them!
do the same here! and if you have confidence issues then meet friends at your work or university and then go out to clubs and bars to meet people out there...
you wont make many friends sitting at home on the internet so get out there young player! haha
