Getting straight into it basically im really good at getting numbers but seriously suck balls at getting dates! I get a girls number that i like and im constantly trying to seed into her mind that i want to see her and ask if she's ever in town. I think this is the right thing to do but i don't know how to ask, it's either do you want to come to this comedy night or its you fancy coming into town. They will reply with 'Oh can't having a meal tomorrow' or some other bull5#17.

Only seen her once for literally 5 minutes? How does she remember you from Jack? I would think when you 1st meet her, you would need to differentiate yourself somehow. Possibly by doing something really remarkable and memorable in those 5 minutes, or more conventionally, by spending longer than 5 minutes on her. Then when you contact her, re-establish whatever was cool about how you first met her. It sounds like she had a reason to care about your existence at the time, which is how you got her number, but since then the interest has faded in her mind and you're nobody.
