What were you guys "rolling" about? Maybe there's a context-specific way to change the frame back to what you're interested in, and that she should be interested in, to be qualified. I'm no expert but I'm not sure trading clever phrases has an endgame?

For instance, I recently got a shit test about the attractiveness of my online photos. I ignored it and said we should meet to go painting. Seeing as that was pretty much the only reason I contacted her in the 1st place; didn't tell her that, but it's the reality. I'm figuring she's either a painter or she isn't, she's interested in painting or just posing about it, and I think she replied to me twice because of my painting persona. Not my looks. So why should I worry about a shit test about my looks? It wasn't what got her attention in the 1st place. I think if I got her up on a mountain with a brush in her hand the shit test stuff would just fall away.

My imagined summary of that conversation. "So you like painting." "Yeah! and I want the moon too." "Yeah, about painting. Let's do something."
