Greetings PUA Men/Women, I'm Boheme from Dallas, TX but currently reside in bumfuck New Mexico in a small town called alamogordo (avoid this place if you can, it sucks) about 1hr from las cruces and 1.5 hr from el paso (for any puas interested in sarging with a newcomer).

I'm 24y/o and can't say that I'm terrible with women, I just have a hard time attracting the women I want. My last sexual encounter was over a year ago so I'm well overdue.

It's funny because I think I'm a mildly attractive guy (so I've been told by a few HBs), but I either get put in the friend zone (HB8+), or have to settle for HB7-. I'm tired of that I believe that I'm destined for greatness. In fact, I believe we all are.

This is what I want from PU (These are copied from a journal entry of mine so they may not make as much sense out of context)
  • 1. I want to be able to capture the moment. I don't want that special someone to slip between my fingers, ever again.
    2. I want social interaction to become second nature.
    3. I want to be able to play the game better than anyone else.
I'm going to post the full journal entries in a new thread for anyone interested.

I am a bibliophile and love books and knowledge in general. I want to learn everything I can about PU and the associated self-help techniques. Here is a list of the current books I am reading for anyone interested. I'm going to review each book as I finish so keep following my posts if you want to find out more.
  • 1. Introducing NLP [Joseph O'Connor and John Seymour] - Currently reading this, its life changing so far. I thought all self-help was bullshit laced with cocaine until I began this.
    2. The Game [Neil Strauss] - 3/4 way through this, its been a fun ride following Style on his journey. Kudos to Style for his contribution to PUAs everywhere!
    3. Light on Yoga [B.K.S. Iyengar] - want to begin meditation and yoga regularly to loosen up my body and mind
    4. Get the Life You Want [Richard Bandler] - NLP book by one of the creators
    5. Tricks to Pickup Chicks [Richard Ferguson aka "Ice Breaker"] - looks like a really cool book to pull pua routines from
    6. People Skills [Robert Bolton] - book on communication
    7. Sextrology [Starsky and Cox] - You can never have to much information in the field. I'm hoping that once I finish I can turn the information into a routine.
    8. The Cube [Gottlieb and Pesic] - I bought this, but there is really no need its online on youtube and wiki (there might even be a post about it on this forum). I will say the book does give some added insight though
    9. Palm Reading [Dennis Fairchild] - A small booklet I hope to condense into a practical guide. This information can also be found online.
    10. The Red Queen [Matt Ridley] - A journey through the sexual evolution of human nature. It looks like it could give some valuable information in the psyche of men/women that could help in navigating the taboo topic of sex in conversation.

Welcome to the boards from a fellow noob.

I like your attitude.

"Destined for greatness"

I'm so stealing that one. ;)
