Confidence is not the method for success, it is the byproduct of what you should have going on. Confidence alone should not be your target. Confidence comes only naturally when you know who you are and what you want to do, knowing what you want in life and being able to take it. Once you reach adulthood you'll have all the confidence you need to draw upon.

Of course it also works to fake it till you make it.

Im no master or anything, but I completetly agree that adaptability is super important. Because if you dont succeed one night you have to aknoledge the mistakes you made and fix it. Also another thing that I didnt see up there was the ability to improvise. That is a major player as well.

I chose confidence. I acknowledge confidence, like the term of speed in contact sports. Speed is a skill that you can't teach, confidence in a pua is that important in my view.

I think we are all missing the point. A PUA should try to achieve all of these things. If you just have one of any of these things your gonna still fail more often then not. LOOK's? seriously? If all you had was good look's but not the others you end up being an idiot asshole. Whats good are looks if you don't have the confidence to get out of your house? What good are looks when everything you say is awkward, creepy, and stupid. Maybe looks will get you some openers here or there, but women will can still be turned off pretty easily simply by what you say and how you act.

Wit and humor without confidence or looks will probably make sure that women dont take you seriously. Thats a recipe for hardcore LJBF.

We as PUA need to strive to achieve our potential in all area's. It takes hard work but focusing on just one area is just not going to be reliable for anyones game.

Thanks fortunehooks, I do see how we can point to one traits or the other as perhaps more important then the others. There maybe traits that people can get by without developing entirely. But lets not recommend that.

I love this! When formulated with one or more characteristics the outcome is always unknown.  yet the unknown is always a benefit. Confidence is steroids to almost any form of emotion. It is a great booster.

Awareness
It needs to be linked to another characteristic. It cannot be alone. It is only harmful to yourself if it is alone. Realising potential is nothing without confidence. This happens a lot. AFCs are aware of the signs but do not act on them. This can put you in a vicious cycle. Regret comes a lot into play.

Wit
You need to be able to control the situation. Wit sets you apart from ordinary AFC’s

Humor
Can get you really far and keeps the conversation flowing

Good-looks
There’s a reason why I put it last. Good looks can only get you that far. Without game it means nothing. (I’ll admit I am good looking but it hasn’t helped me with my game. Sure if it is combined with other characteristics it has its advantages. But girls really want confidence. )

Why So Serious?

Everybody says confidence, but, like most of those things you can learn it, but there's one thing that is not easy to get, and I belive some people cant learn: Awareness.

You need to be aware of yourself and your enviroment in order to be a good at this.

Awareness is linked to the concept of noesis, thats the psychological result of perception and learning and reasoning.

Its like your intuitive consciousness, I like the definition I read in a book :"Direct and immediate access to knowledge beyond what is available to our normal senses and the power of reason."

Its all about intuitive knowing. You might experienced times whne you just knew something was true, through a lot of thinking or just on the spot, without having evidence provided by your senses or logic....and then it turned to be so.

Usually, it comes with a sense of "rightness" and self-validation. Many people consider such noetic moments to be communications from a "higher intelligence."

I'm gonna write a thread about that, since nobody knows about it....you guys should read a bit more

EDIT: That last part implies that confidence is a part of noetic thinking.
