I took my first baby step towards being the man I always wanted to be. After about half an hour of thinking 'I am gonna do it', I finally approached a two girls set. The girls were cute, in pink and sky blue. I think they were '6 out of 10'.
It went like
Rex: Hi!
I want your opinion on something.
who do you think lies more: Guys or girls?
I know it sounds a bit crazy.
But I had a bet on this with my friend.(Pointing to my wing)
[I think I started with a serious face,because I was a bit nervous. But then I went on to a big smile. Pink chick started smiling as well. She had a nice big smile.]

Pink chick: You want my opinion on what?

Rex: Who do you think lies more: Guys or girls?

Pink chick: I think it depends.

Rex: Depends on what?
I mean when would a girl lie?

Pink chick:....(She said something that I dont remember)

Rex: And guys! when do they lie?

Pink chick: I think in a relation, to girlfriends.

[I should have said something now(Anyone reading is free to suggest anything). But I dint. I just said 'Bye' and left. I knew I had made so many mistakes by then. Blue chick said nothing. Maybe they were not together after all.]

Lessons Learned
----------------

1.Think less, act more. It pays.
2.Go a bit slow.Let the question sink in.
3.Pay attention to all, and not anyone in particular.

I am not qualified to give you any advice but here is a thought I had. Maybe whoever rescues you could tell me if I am going the right direction on this.
I do think it would be helpful ammo to know how she answered the "when do girls lie" question.

Pink: I think... girlfriends.

Rex (to blue): So your friend says girls lie when it involves ______. This is clearly not one of those situations so I know you are going to tell me the truth. Would you be upset if I borrowed pink for a minute?

IF:
Blue: Yes for any reason

Rex: Well shit I mean I already got it cleared with my girlfriend do you think you could let it slide this once?

IF:
Blue: No

Rex: Thanks we'll be back in a bit... but please don't tell my girlfriend (with a laugh)

Just my first thoughts. Hopefully someone more qualified jumps in to help you out.

It's okay man. You took the first step and now you're learning to walk. It's the same thing me, and many of us here do. Just keep doing it and don't give up. Results will come with time and practise.
