I have read a few of these books, and what it appears to be is to show you the end result of pua, and not how you get there
SURE, it gives you the methods and thoughts behind it, but when you are out in the field, it just doest work
For me, I think you learn PU in two different ways:

First: Go out and do it yourself
you will never achieve anything if you sit at home, on your own, reading some books then masturbating, that just doesnt work
It also boosts your confidence and teaches you what your doing wrong

Second: read field reports and lay reports
Personally, this works best for me, r4ading something, liking it seeing as it worked, and using it for my own benefits.
you know it will work because it has been field tested so you dont need to be rejected or shot down as much

That is duming it down too much. It's like saying Poker is easy: You just bet when you have the best hand and fold when you don't.

When you had no success with women, have issues about yourself, lack confidence and or you are introverted just reading : Silly, just go out there. Will not help one bit. All the books and theory out there try to coax you into forgetting the above (or what may be holding you back) and to finally go out and try. If you have no fear of rejection, no aproach anxiety, no confidance issues and nothing that bothers you about yourself, chances are you are doing just fine with the ladies any how.

I'm glad you had the balls to just jump in and do it and that you found better ressources (field reports) for your learning needs. You where able to get from A to C without going through B. To get me trying to pick up a random girl the first times it took me quite a bit of reading and I would consider that what I read really helped me meet women and improve myself. I had to go through B to finaly get to C.

That is also why the typical question of "What is the best material out there" or "What should I read next" is so hard to answer. For me it was David DeAngelo and Vin DiCarlo's stuff that helped me the most. For others MM will be best, for others Ross Jefferies will help them out.

Anyhow I'm rambling now, but because it wasn't usefull for you doesn't mean it's BS. I agree that field experience canot be replaced. Books/ebooks will help you feel comfortable enough to go out and do it. Men are logical creatures, most of us like to have an instruction manual...
