I don't know whether she's just trying to stop me trying anything or is it a defence thing because of the flirting!?

If she's got a bf and she's happy, then why are you gaming her? Just be friends and have her as part of your social group. Having hot female friends opens so many doors. I never understand why guys would refuse the opportunity to

- be massively social proofed in bars and clubs
- meet and game her hot friends
- practice being flirty and fun
- keep the opportunity open when she does break up with the BF to go after her
- be generally social

What have you got to lose? Game other chicks, and talk to your new hot FRIEND about all the relationships YOU'RE having and ask her for advice about stuff. Believe me, if she's attracted to you at all, she'll be 10x so when she hears about all the HBs you're seeing
