What do yall think about this as an opener, go up to a girl and call her a name, ie sarah, and act like you know her. Be like hey sarah! and go in for a hug or someshit; pretend that you mistook her for an exgf or something. I think it would be a funny way to open.

the mistaking name can work but physical no you might have you a law suit for sexual harassment. but i've down that before i tell em i think i know you from some where is your name ex Sarah, the well say no or yes.after that bullshit then lead the conversation to something else. this is traditional way to talk to woman confused then attack lol. it brakes their guard down

it would be no problem but the thing is using openers like these means you need SOLID TRANSITION to pull you thru, otherwise you're heading nowhere.
where does solid transition comes from? it comes from knowing what you want in learning game and experience from daily approaches.

I've tried this a few times, some good results and some bad.

You could go 2 ways.

1. You take your acting serious like you actually think its 'Sarah'
(A risk is if she doesnt belive it, or take you for a weirdo - then she wount keep talking to you...)

2. You've had some EC and you make it kinda obvious you DONT think its 'Sarah' but you are playing a game. If you do it that way its pretty much: Do you like me'?
(Cause if she doesnt... she will tell you to fuck off.)

I agree with the last part about confusing them to get there guard down to wonder what is going on.

But dude there is no way a girl is going to take out a sexual harassment charge for a hug lol. Do you know how bad and stuck up that girl would feel if she took out a charge for someone who is just trying to give them a friendly hug. The judge would just laugh in her face.

Back to the guy who is asking. You have to go test this out and figure out how it can work with your style.

Skip the name and go for the "Oh my God! Hi how are you? How long has it been? It must have been 3 years?" - then just go for a big hug. You'll be surprised at how many actually hug you back and go with the flow.

It's when you you break from the hug you flip the name and go, "Sarah?"

what if her name is really Sarah? lol!

i thought of a facebook opener where i add random girls and talk. eventuraly they will say 'do i know you' and you say 'i hope so. you where at smithys party at the weekend right?' the only tricky part iis if they say yes then you have to think fast

never used it though. i dont like FB for gaming

I've used something similar to this as an opener. Basically Waved at the chick and seemed really excited to see her as if we were old friends, picked her up in a hug and put her back down. When she said "Do I know you?" I said "Nope, I'm Dave how you doing?". Seemed to work well that night, a couple of hours later we were back at mine.

I have tried this kind of opener with both positive and negative results.

It can be fun if she plays along but the thing is, once you've started the opener, you must be consistent with it. You also better have a really good transition lined up to move the conversation forward.
