OK, I am a long time reader of this forum but not posted much. The advice here is amazing so I thought I would ask about this.

I met a girl at the works do (she was just in the bar). I got her number and texted/spoke on the phone for a week or so (due to Christmas and stuff meeting was hard). Anyway, we arranged to meet up all looked good she texted me ''looking forward to meeting you. x''. So I think fair enough looks promising. She then does a no show and has not given any reason for it. My issue is what the fuck happened? I'm not used to this sort of thing as how hard is it to text with an I'm busy message? My main question is how to minimalize this happening again? Do you guys text/ring on the day to make sure its still on? How can someone go from her asking me to meet her to her no showing?

I guess the main thing bruised is my ego I would never do this to someone so I guess it annoys me people are so rude. I know plenty of fish and all that but I don't want this to happen to often I guess.
