Youtube liking system for peoples advice

Problem solved

If people believe what someone is generally saying to be on the ball they should like it

If its utter Bull it gets buried
This would be a good idea, unfortunatly it often turns out that the bad advice is easier to swallow.

Warped Mindless largely gave terrible advice and was incredibly popular for a long time until his lies got exposed.

1. It's not the new guys that are the problem, the new guys are great! They have some of the best learning attitudes around.

The real problem is they have no idea whats good advice and whats bad advice, so when a new guy grows up and hasn't learnt to leave teaching to people who actually KNOW what they are doing, that's is where the problem lies.

If you want to help people out that's tottaly fine, the first issue is concerning what happens when people start making assertions about truth and no one questions it.

2. Again, confidence is fine, but the tren we have here is an impractical pseudo method of gaining confidence.

I.e. Just trying to think yourself confident.

The result, alot of inner game junkies who's self esteem is in the pits and they can't figure out why.

3. This stuff CAN fuck you up, (why do you think so many people rail against MM? Why do you think Gambler refuses to take on students younger than 21? hint: age of consent in the uk is 16)

Relying on the community to solve your major problems which you should be seeing a therapist for, or being prescribed meds is not a good idea. We are not trained in how to deal with major anxieties or large scale insecurities, heck, we are not trained at all.
Ok now that you explained a bit further, I now see your point clearer and I agree with you now.

This is what sometimes irritates me on the forum: for example, one day, 4 different people made a new topic in pu lounge section, it was like all of them has seen the light, and they all say "it is not about outer game, it is inner game. Too many people think too much when sarging and has outcome dependence. Just adopt an "I don't give a shit attitude blablabla".
While these topics often have a point, they're not very clear and in depht, and thus you don't learn very much from it. Nonetheless, the people who wrote the topics come off as a prophet.
Meanwhile, tens of people, acting like a horde of sheeps, answer with "great post!/ so true/ yeah exactly blabla/ ..." while not trying to think criticaly.
At the 4th topic, I already feel like saying "dude, 3 other topics on the same subject are being made. Trying to get attention or what?", but in the end I don't bother reacting to it.

Pick Up obviously does not require a degree. In terms of ‘outer game’, anybody with a few days experience of chatting with women can probably agree on what type of game might or might not go over well with women. I mean . . . this is some simple, basic, shit that a junior high school kid could figure out. This is why I don’t at all mind when the socially challenged come aboard with their openers like, “Oh . . and I will tell her that her face looks like milk but her hair doesn’t work well with her face because it looks roses instead of chocolate chip cookies . . . then I’ll lean back and be like ‘what’s up with that’???” – Unless the poster is a 9 year old retard, he’d be able to understand the counterarguments to his post on ‘outer game’. And really . . . what’s the WORST that can happen here? A bunch of young kids will go out and everybody will share a good laugh. This is all fun stuff . . .

Disturbing issues rise when we begin discussing ‘inner game’. Retards often feel that they can wear the expert hat by spewing off a few vague (to them) psychological terms. When questioned, the only thing they can do is spew off more vague terminology + words they think of as ‘encouragement’ but more often than not are acts of beggary to join them in their delusional shit. Instead of offering real life, effective, tested, professionally accepted exercises that offer realizable benefits,(because they never studied or practiced and generally have no idea that any of this exists) the inner game retards in this forum come up la-la land shit simply to make themselves feel better about their negative cycles. When questioned further, all they can do is insult the questioner.

Now . . . I’ve met real life ‘professionals’ who make a lot of money doing EXACTLY ^^THIS but that’s the problem isn’t it? It’s very easy to take advantage of the emotionally unstable. The average liar wouldn't dare to 'pretend' to be a doctor, aeronautical engineer, lawyer, professor, etc . . . These professions require formal education, unique knowledge, abilities, and a certificate that hangs on the back wall of your office. Plus, if you were to fuck up, it could result in physically viewable and identifiable negative consequences. These sectors have built-in governing tools that weed out most wanna-be idiots. Unfortunately, in this ‘community’, the only tool we have to weed out the idiots is the ability to publicly ridicule them through logical replies.

Pareto's Law... thats just the way the world works.

Also I'm going to revert to the main point I made last time when this subject was brought up. If we are going to ridicule people for giving advice from a point we consider to be a lower authority or level on knowledge on the subject matter then ourselves where does it stop? Also should we be requiring that others fully explain all positions to save off harsh ridicule? I could use this very thread as an example. If a n00b where to read this thread they may think that all self help advice is bullshit, due to Fin and Kasabi not elaborating on the aspects that make certain advice poor and certain advice helpful. Should I attack this? It is obviously a flawed and potentially harmful assumption for a n00b to make. My choice is not to because I believe that Fin and Kasabi are likely to have an understanding of this and simply did not feel the need to post more then a simplification on the subject. I could however by using the logic proposed in this thread go on the offensive and demand that these stances be clarified or retracted depending on the knowledge displayed in the defense of the position. Honestly though... that just seems like a big waste of time.

I would say, be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.

Except both me and Kasabi implied that and stated that there are working, and effective forms of self help.

Pick up is only about picking up women it is not about fixing all your life problems

Not only have I seen this material mess people up when they misinturpret what their reading, but also I've seen guys (myself included) who when they become good at this stuff let it totally destroy their lives

And this stuff did everything it was suppose to, it taught them how to be better with women, wheather or not they can maintain the other areas of their life and deal with the addictive nature of pick up and keep their life in balance is not the communitys concern

For some people it makes their lives way better to become successful with women for others it makes their lives better with women but worse overall. This is not the communitys fault, the community was just there to teach you how to become better with women not tell you what to do afterward.

I think Gambler should move the age he accepts to 25 (although this might effect business, beings that a larger % of guys have figured out that they don't even need this stuff by that age) this way he would'nt be dealing with so many people who think that if they can master pickup they have solved all their life problems

Thats like saying if you could have unlimited amounts of the hottest girls in your life all your problems would be solved and is very far from the truth.

No, do as I usually do and question it. A poster who can back his statements up often will. On the other hand, idiots will usually shoulder the responsibility of his bullshit to who ever is questioning them: "You don't get it asshole . . ."

1. Analyze.
2. Question.
3. LOL, LOL, LOL . . .
4. Lead the idiot to humiliating himself.
5. LOL, LOL, LOL . . .

Plus, I've been bullshitting ever since I joined this forum; gamed 2 chicks in my life. And the first one hardly counts because my cookie head break dancing style was my crutch. Without it, I couldn't possibly have attracted my 4th grade sweetheart. I don't remember it word for word but her valentines day card was 2 pages long and finished off with "Love forever". (heart, heart, heart) God bless her and I hope she's alive and well somewhere.

Please question my bullshit!

Agreed with doubts this is cool as the only reason this website exists is we want to get laid and getting bogged down in theory actually takes your mind off the main theme- getting HBs into bed.
