Has anyone ever had this, or anything similar to what I’ve got happening to me and what they happened to have done about it?

Ok, here's my dilemma...

BACKGROUND ON ME:

I'm 16 yrs old, and found the game when I was around 12 or so. I saw an internet advert about DYD. I checked it out, thought it was the answer to my girl-troubles lol.
Went further in to it and checked out other programs like RSD: Blueprint and life seems kinda better now. :D I try and game occasionally, but my parents almost always seem to hold me back.
I know they want the best for me but their pretty bloody annoying when it comes to me being social with other people. FML

They're the 'Semi-Conservative Parental' types as I would call ‘em and I hardly get out of the house – save for getting milk and bread.
Much talk to anyone that they know about. My brain is still in its 'pick-up infancy' and when I do get to go out it's almost always with the family. :(
I want to talk to people just to get the content of what I learned to really manifest and know that I'm doing a good job. I ain’t good but I can hold on to girls more than my mates.
But I can't stray too far from the family when we’re out ‘cos mum says my little brothers would follow me as well (yup I'm the eldest).

FAST FORWARD TO NOW:

It’s the Christmas holidays and as far as I know, most girls hate being alone during the holiday season (Gee, I wonder why…). To top all that, we’re going to Sydney, Australia on the 29th.
That’s like 5 – 6 days from now! Dad says that it’s “to bring us together and get to see more of Australia.” As if I wasn’t in doubt about my abilities enough.

*sigh*

I’m having a real problem with my Inner Game at the moment ‘cos I haven’t talked to people much in the beginning of the holidays.

Has anyone had the same problem as me or something similar?

====================================================================

P.S.
As far as I remember I've only talked to like 4 - 6 people in the first 2 - 3 weeks of the holidays. So I'm pretty down about it. Can anyone suggest anything once I'm in Sydney?

P.P.S.
I know what I ask is kinda selfish and granted that I might have some negative comments but all I ask is help from the forum members.

Dude approach is one of my sticking points but on holidays you've got nothing to lose... it's the perfect place for you to practice.. doesn't matter what the girls say to you, shoot you down or whatever, because you'll never see them again.. and if they don't shoot you down it's all good. So get out there and practice.. talk to as many people as you can.

I can't give you advice on your family situation (what age are your youngers bros? maybe you could "take them for a walk" and approach girls, just say you're looking after them for a while to give you parents a break if the girl asks).

good luck
