When I'm working, I tend to work alone. Here are two things I am having trouble with:

I am talking to two girls and all of a sudden as I am going through my set, one girl says something to the other girl in another language.

Second, I am trying to start up conversation with two girls. I ask, how do they know each other, they start say they work together and then they start ripping apart their jobs and they ripping people they work with, who I don't care about and telling me how much they hate it.

How should I respond in these situations :?:

basically, you need to take the frame away from these girls.
They are only talking about this depressing shit because you let the topic stray in that direction.

Take the frame back. You are in control of the conversation.

figure out what language it is and ask where they are from. . . if they are speaking portuguese and they are Brazilian theyre probably fans of their soccer team. . . tell a story about when you used to play soccer in high school.
