ok, this one doesn't really end up in a happy ending, but

I took my dog to a dog park today and I was the only one there for a good 10 minutes. then this HB8.5 parked and took her dog over. Her dog was off the leash so it came over to my dog (fk this sounds lame ) haha but I started talking to her about her dog and shit,

anyways throughout the convo she said how she takes her dog to a 'doggy beach' and i said oh yeah, sounds cool where is it etc...
throughout the convo she made mentioned about 2 -3 times as well that her parents are 'away' overseas or something anyways, I made a few jokes about other dogs humping her dog and they would break its back (cause her dog is small) and she laughed, but I tried steering the convo from dogs to music/concerts but she didn't seem that into it and the thing just kinda stalled from there.

Im f'kn kicking myself for not asking for her number, cause I know I could of just said ' next time you take your dog to the beach, give me a ring' or something , but anyways, hopefully ill stumble across her at the dog park maybe tommorow or next week,

if/when I do, anyone give me any tips on how I can escalate it? She didn't really stear the conversation that much, I had to do a lot of the leg work outside of the dog topic, but she did come over to sit next to me so my minds fkd

any help or pointers would be good, I did get her to laugh a few times, and I thought me not asking for her number , might make me like the 'play it cool' type, I just hope she doesn't think im not interested,

yes, I over analyze everything

I dont get it what you think the problem is? It wasnt some brilliant and diverse social mistake that you couldnt make it out of. You fecking chocked. Next time just ask for the number. Nothing too complex

I agreewith kilativ15. It sounds like an easy number close for you my friend.

As for the steering conversations. IMO I think you should be doing bout 80% of that steering. YOU should be in control of it. I think women love a guy who can take charge and just have that 'don't worry bout anything, I'll take care of it' aura about them

Its better to burn a bridge and go for it, then to come back and hope you can start a fire by rubbing 2 sticks together.

number one rule never ask for her number directly let her offer it IOI, you did kill your game you should of let her steer the conversation, the most dangerous thing is to tell your story no her story have a mystery about your self that she wanna know about it. second of off if you steer the animal conversation correct you could of f close
