Ok guys heres the back story with the girl. Only ever met her once, like 2 years ago but made a big impression as I was hefty funny and I gotten wee clues that she likes me as her mates keep asking "Would you go out with Sophie?" etc etc all that. Never really pursued her but occasionally talked on Msn and on social network, all little laughs, nothing serious. For some reason I just decided to text out of the blue and maybe get some action going as theres absolutely nothing else to do in this freezing shithole, ie Scotland.

OK here we go.....

Me: Hey Softie! Greg says you stay down in liverpool now? x
(got a bit of nickname to neg her)

Me: Haha Liverpool, unlucky! Joking, maybe. Aww its a shame you couldnt come over to ******** more often as I know we would of been like 2 peas in a pod x

HB: I'm coming up after new year to see greg and that so you best be there! And i know! Gutting i last saw you like 2 years ago x

Me: Good, il hire the limo and buy the champayne to celebrate your return to our humble little home! its a date x

HB: Limo eh? awhh! Do you still talk to calvin? Hes like "move in with me" o.o lmfao x
(calvin is a friend of mine who i havent spoken to in ages. And she has repeatly rejected his advances)

Me: Not seen or spoken to him in ages. Last i heard, hes driving his car around suspiciously for wee girls! Personally I think i did alright to even got her to reply after only meeting her once in person and that was 2 years ago. So it shows shes still interested. Notice how she only said "yeah" in the first text and began to say more as the text progessed as her interest grew. Still no expert in the texting game but thats why im asking you guys to decide how i did. Oh and its ben 2 days since i texted her this, should i text her tonight?

Only advice would be to not validate her so easily,

for example when she says "You better be there" don't jump to say "Oh I willlll" you know give it the air of mystery, and shoot her an "If you're a good girl" or something like that.. Make her work for you.

but sounds like you've got a handle on it.. Remember. YOU'RE the prize. not her.
