If it's not apart of your job at all and she's simply asking you to do this as a favor for her, then yes, it's a shit test.

Don't do it, ask her why she's not doing her own job or ask her why she's asking you to do this and look offended. You need to immediately disqualify this type of behavior. Don't "complain" or "whine" about it though, you MUST be Alpha when you handle shit tests.

Cheers for the feedback lads. I had actually written the message and then when I read through it added the "LOL" after. Now that you guys have mentioned it, it looks extremely weak!

I did this for the reason exactly as you mentioned. To lighten the mood and make it more friendly. I use it quite often and will most definately be thinking twice before using it again and in what context, as it weakens the message.
