I don't see the difference. After all how many people think they marry for "love" when really it's one of the following:

-Money
-So the other person doesn't leave them
-For sex
-For social status

Please. Even my 14yo niece has awaken from the "sex after marriage" dream already.

What about that: I am currently dating a girl I met at our local pub, on out next meeting we spent around 3 hours and ended up kissing passionately. We met again the day before yesterday, again 3 hours, I can see where it's going and next meeting is at my place. The best part is that she hadn't even asked me for my future plans. If she does so, I would tell her that in 20 months time I am leaving the country and she shouldn't expect a serious relationship. I will say so after sex - I am honest, I wanted to tell her but she didn't ask so I thought the only thing that matters is here and now.

The truth is that sex is not some sacrifice for a girl. Sex is not an ultimate gift a girl gives to a guy. Sex is pleasure, if we have sex I know we both enjoyed it and there is nothing to apologize.

Why do you guys have a presumption that girls have sex in order to make a relationship? It's bullshit.

Like many people in the first world, I have no religion, plus you're religious views are of a very particular KIND of religion that develops its rules for very specefic political and social needs.

And the evidence is that safe, consentual and responsible sex harms no one by virtue of being safe, consentual and responsible.

That's with or without some silly hocus pocus ceremony. Until "god don't like it"/ "Satan likes it" from your equation or at least show how safe, consetual and responsible sex is inherintly damaging to people and society then your line of thought doesn't bear thinking about.

I don't want anyone to feel like I'm bitching out lol. But... forgive me for ever mentioning anything. E-arguing, especially on this topic where it really comes down to a person beliefs, isn't going to get anywhere. I'm not going to waste my time, nor your time.
