I'm finished with step one (out of 11), but it seems like it's just a story that will not help me at all. Did it help you guys?

Are you reading "The Game" or "Rules to the Game"

As far as I could tell, there were no steps in "The Game", but it acted as a kind of a testimonial for the community for me. I think "The Game" is more of an inspirational story of an AFC, Neil Strauss, becoming top dog as mPUA and now a Guru, Style. It does teach some lessons, but most is just a damn good story.

It also helped me look into what direction of pickup I'd be best suited for. Whether NLP is your thing or Cocky-Funny is, I first heard about them by reading "The Game".

If your looking more for a step by step guide, I believe that's more set out in Neil Strauss' second book, "Rules to the Game"

Do you write for rolling stone?
Do you travel with motley crue?
Do you interview Tom Cruise?
Do you interview Britney Spears?
Do you have the support to say "I want to write about the PUA community, will you fund me?"
Do you have the funds to pay for a speech coach?
Will people mistake you for Mobley?
Are you known enough to get in to upscale clubs that Heidi Fleis frequents?

If you answered YES, thne it's a guide and will help you, if you answered no, then a story (a good read though)

Oh, I guess I was looking for Rules of the game. ^^;;
I'll read that after I read this because this is really interesting and funny. It's also bringing my spirits up.

Ya can't say anything for "Rules of the Game", haven't got around to/not sure I'm going to buy it.

There's a thread going on reading material, lots of guys posting some great books

Personally, I got Juggler's book and I'm lovin it. If you don't know who Juggler is, you will after reading "The Game"

And as for the notes, not needed for that book.

Hi dude.

I wouldnt advice you to buy a book actually. If i was you, i would just stick around here, and read through posts. You will have questions yourself, so post them here.

Its free of charge, and you will learn basically the same: the first thing in PUA is conquering yourself instead before you take on the world. If you read about routines in the book or here on the forum, you will still need to have the guts to try them out, which is the biggest PU school.

I agree with LD man if you aren't that wealthy then don't buy it its like 60$
for me i have the book and i only read to page 120 (got lazy). i advise you to look you-tube seminars FORUM ofc ask questions (cuz i didn't discover this forum till i almost mastered day-game wish i had did way earlier) but people here are very helpful never seen anything like it. AlSO if you like watch online THE PICK UP ARTIST seasons 1 and 2. ALSO memories ruteins from Mystery and ALEX for day game memorizing ruteins helped me a lot earlier.

It's an amazing read and pretty much a book about how the whole pick up community got so big. The first half of the book is a lot better than the rest though; about half way through it stops talking about his progress and changes to their lifestyle, and how good at picking up women they are.

As I recall, the rules of the game has the 30 day challenge in it, which encourages you to go out and give 5 or 10 random women compliments every day, so based on that, I would definitely suggest getting it.

Or,

You could just go out and talk to women anyway, for free, without having to buy anything!

You could do small steps like today im going to talk to 10 girls and ask for hours, then trivial things to a step getting her number.
