After reading the laws in the context section, the rest of the book is just stories about those laws to help concrete them into your mind. Stories about people that obeyed the laws, and transgressions of the laws. So if you want the basics, just rip out the contents pages and memorise them.
The ones given in brief, at the start, you mean? That'd save a lot of time! Though, the stories are very interesting too.

That's the ones. That is the whole law actually. The stories just elaborate and show examples of the laws in action.

I'm just writing the laws down on a sticker over a packet of cards and memorising each law one by one. Damn I'm lonely haha. Just kidding, I'm not lonely, just like memory games too much.

But you know, the 'interpretation' the the 'reversal' parts are good too. Help you understand better. I randomly pick the laws which seem of relevant to my life situation and read them. Good book, must say.

David Deangelo is a good starting place to lay the foundations of women psychology.

Michael Pilinski! Extremely good to lay the basic foundation. Specially if you've been a 'nice guy'.
