ok i need help.

yes guys, first day of class already did talk to her right away. it's been a couple of weeks already, so we've chatted for several days. tried to be C&F but at the same time build rapport, going wide-and-deep. i can say i was fairly successful, also been able to dhv a bit. i know i should switch locations, so perfect timing one time last week there was this german bazaar my prof mentioned, i told her we should totally go, she said yes, got her number, teased her a bit on text game. but i flaked on the bazaar, i had a fucking meeting apparently lol.

anyway that's the general gist of it. so i had class again a while ago, got there a little ahead of time hopefully to interact a bit with her before class starts, but she didn't look too well and all, had a sore throat. so my questions are:

1. how do i interact with her? because she was like resting her head on the table, being sick and all. i dunno how to C&F that, she looked too dull
2. how do i escalate further? i feel like my window's closing cuz i feel like i'm still on the same level

i'm thinking opening her next class by asking advice on what clothes to buy my mum for christmas (she mentioned last time she loved shopping), and plan to go wide and deep from there. any thoughts?

Surprise her. Don't run a line, just crush it. "You know, we've been chatting for a while, and I think I might be getting stuck in the friend zone. We should probably go out before it's too late. What are you doing tonight?" Or go over the top: "You know, we've been chatting for a while, and I think I might be getting stuck in the friend zone. We should probably go out before it's too late. Let's cut class and get a cup of coffee."

She'll either accept, or she'll laugh, and you can quickly play it off as a joke, and make her a long term project. It's really a no lose.
