recently i've noticed myself assuming rapport more and more when i approach girls and i've noticed that it tends the help the convo progress more naturally and she opens up a lot more. often times the girl won't even shit test me. if i can partially convince myself that i actually have met the girl before it makes it a lot easier to "be myself" which gets rid of any jitters or anxiety i might otherwise have.

what kinds of experiences have any of you guys had with assuming rapport?

Hypnotists assume rapport with a subject by what's called "going first" you put yourself in the state you want the girl to be in (in this case good rapport) and that sets the frame of the interaction with her.She subconsciously pick up B.M.I.R's (Behavioural manifistations of internal representations) in tiny body language cues and her unconscious does a "reality check" and accepts the frame given it.
When I first learned this I used it to break through a glass ceiling I had hit with approaching an HB10 by assuming she was my long term girlfriend and as a result looked and sounded really natural with her.
